Congratulations! Just by visiting our website, you've already taken your first step toward continuing your education. As you start this process, we're sure you have a lot of questions. How do I apply? How much does it cost? Can I balance my life, work, and studies? Don't worry; we're here to help.

By following this step-by-step guide, you will find many of the answers you are looking for. You'll also find contact information to speak with college staff who can answer any additional questions you might have.

Step 1: Visit our website

Explore our website, which will give you a sense of our programs and our commitment to the busy graduate student.

Step 2: Connect with the Office of Graduate Admissions

There are several ways to learn more about our programs and application process through the Office of Admissions for Graduate and Adult Degree Completion Programs. 

  • Fill out our online inquiry form and we'll mail information to you.
  • Register for one of our upcoming Information Sessions, where you can meet with admissions representatives and learn more about our master's degree programs.
  • Call or visit campus! Contact the Office of Admissions for Graduate and Adult Degree Completion Programs at 845-569-3225 or email to set up an appointment, or to discuss any questions you may have.

Step 3: Apply online

Our online application is easy and free! Start your application today, and have all of your official transcripts sent to the college. All supporting documentation can be mailed to:

Step 4: Research financial aid options

Visit our Financial Aid web page to learn more about financing options for graduate and adult students, or set up a meeting with one of our Financial Aid advisors. You may also ask your employer about tuition reimbursement programs.

Step 5: Meet your program coordinator

Meet with your program coordinator, who will help you to put together an academic plan.

Step 6: Register for classes!

Registration can be completed in person, through the mail, by email, or online. In-person registration is held just before the start of each semester or session.

Please note: All registered graduate students are required by law to submit a record of immunization to MSMC Health Services prior to the start of classes.
